This project is a radical reworking he space within a small London Flat, transforming a collection of five small rooms into a single space served by a thick wall of kitchen and bathroom fittings.

A limited palette of good quality materials: oak, limestone, glass mosaic, mirrors, porcelain and stainless steel are used to articulate a simple white space, maximising natural light and with it the sense of space.

A thick wall of storage runs the full width of the space, giving a generous sense of scale and absorbing clutter. Sliding screens provide for different levels of enclosure, from complete openness through to complete personal privacy.  Careful detailing of fire doors does away with the sense of the entrance hall as a dark cramped space clogging up the middle of the flat.

The flat has proved very popular with tenants, fetching an unprecedented rental income in a highly desirable block.
